Mountain View Cottages

This is an absolutely stunning place to stay couldn’t fault anything I’ll definitely be coming back to here it’s spotless beautifully kept gardens. Quiet the owner is so nice has bike hire on the place restaurants close coffee shops. Many attractions a small bike ride away

The place was very nice, clean and relaxing because of the garden too. The owner was very helpful to us, and accommodating. We will come back for sure.

Stunning property Very spacious bedroom & kitchen area Kitchen well equipped with what you’d need AC in bedroom only but worked very well Fan provided for kitchen Outdoor area was great + had washing line Rented our bikes here too, location is 10 min from airport & 20 min from the port. 3/4 very nice restaurants within walking distance. Also 10/15 min walk from the dock the boats leave for White Island There is lots of tuktuks passing on the main road 5 min walk away, make sure to get the orange ones. They charge 15 Pesos to go into the town to the market etc

The wall in the kitchen is mesh, something we never experienced before in the Philippines & was fine but allowed AC cold air to escape if bedroom door not closed! Expected a lot more ants etc with the mesh but there was no issues at all! Not properties fault but had house number 1 which is beside the road, the loud tuktuks promoting products would start around 7am and was really loud when passing.

The cottages are excellent and are up to a western expectation. Reminds me of a resort in Hawaii. He offers bike rentals for good prices and you can ask Henry the manager for an airport transfer and about a private tricycle driver you can hire. He mentioned the internet which is quite good given the remote location is actually Starlink. There's lots of cute birds on the location too.

You're somewhat far from the main city so you will need to learn to use the orange tricycles (they all say westbound on them even when going east, presumably because they radiate to the west of the city; alternatively you can rent a bike from him which my buddy did instead. I wish the kitchen area were climate controllable like the bedroom is.

The perfect place on a gem of an island. For this price point you really won’t do any better in Camiguin. You get a little cottage all to yourself in a small community of 7 or 8 of them. Lush surroundings..wake up to tropical foliage and birds. Perfectly situated on the island just walking distance of the main circumference road, and all popular spots. The cottage has a full kitchen as well as good cable TV and…Starlink Internet! Wi-Fi is just great here and that’s not the case everywhere on the island. Finally you get Henry the owner who is a real character, and will also rent you a scooter for P300 a day..again, you can’t do any better on the island. Come here if you come to Camiguin.

The cottages are very functional and clean. The owner is friendly and very hardworking, he help in the upkeep of the villas. Internet is fast and the location is well situated yet very serene for a quiet stay.
