Check in was accomodating & easy. Great location, the fireplace was great & quickly heated the place with ample supply of kindling & firewood. Bed & pillows were comfortable. Instructions on how to use everything (eg. the gas hob) were well set out & easy to follow.

Unfortunately the place is a bit run down & missing some basic amenities, kitchen cabinetry is falling apart & the bathroom floor vinyl is bubbling/lifting. The blinds in the bedroom were moldy. There is no towel rail, toilet paper roll holder or any surface space to put toiletries or cosmetics in the bathroom, I did notice space on top of the washing machine in the listing images but it was occupied some buckets & cleaning products so unusable for our stay. There was no mirror in bedroom, drawers or luggage rack. The BBQ was absolutely disgusting & unusable, it was very evident it was not cleaned since last used. The fireplace wasn't accompanied with any tools to aid in stoking other than a plastic dust pan to scoop & dispose of ashes.

Cozy place with everything you needed! Loved the fire, heats the whole place up beautifully.

Cook top buttons were difficult to use and mostly broken. Fire is the only heating so if you are arriving late it could be a downside.

Lacking basic comforts such as cooling fan, alternative heating to wood fire, no reading lights in bedroom or lounge room, no coffee tables, tarnished silver ware ( unpleasant to use) and insufficient cooking utensils eg grater, colander & no hair dryer
