Starbright Townhouse

The rear unit of two, sunny and with an open outlook to the north. King/super king bed in main room a plus. Sliders on north side of living and main bedroom open to deck which was lovely.

The skylight over the bed is an interesting idea in principle but really needs a blackout blind which can be closed. On a clear moonlit night it was difficult to sleep. Fitted out with the bare minimum in kitchen - 4 plates 4 knives/ cups etc. One sofa one armchair. So while we were only two staying it would be awkward to be a family of four, or to have someone over for a drink/ meal.

I liked that it was a new build and was very well set out and extremely comfortable and quiet.

I did not like the large skylight in the main bedroom. I guess this is so you can see the stars at night but I found I could not get to sleep as it was a full moon and the room was too light and then the sun came streaming in through the skylight in the early hours of the morning so absolutely no chance to have a sleep in which is what I was looking forward to on a break away so found myself very tired during the day as had not managed to get any sleep. There should be a block out blind that is able to be closed if the guests want to. Also there was a lot of dust on the top of the fridge which always makes me wonder how thorough their cleaning of the rest of the property is however it did seem pretty clean over all

Modern and clean house in Twizel. There is a skylight in the main bedroom for star viewing, which would have been awesome if we had a clear night. Kitchen was spacious and the bathroom had a great shower!

AC was a bit touchy (some rooms hot, others cold) and kitchen utensils were a little limited. Overall a great stay!
