AUA wonderful place to stay, very friendly welcome, the most comfortable beds and log fire. Great for a group of friends or family, sparkling lake behind the property, amazing kayaking and treks near by. Only 15 mins from Rotorua. Anne is a great host and we’re looking forward to retuning for a wonderful lamb roast .
We liked everything about Tikitere Lodge.
JEThe size of the property and living space. Close proximity to hells gate and redwood forest, plus a walk through the garden to the lake. Anne and Matt were great hosts.
Cobwebs on the outside areas and lots of dead midge flys on the kitchen ceiling, that could of been hovered up before arrival. For the cost would of expected the coffee pods and washing powder to be complementary, like we have had in similar properties.
AULuxurious accommodation with very comfortable beds and thick towels. Excellent communication and very helpful hosts.
Basic tea and coffee was included. But be mindful that no breakfast provisions were provided. However they were available for purchase.
AUThe location was amazing, amenities were top notch and the lodge made one feel so relaxed
GBIt was beautifully clean and great layout, attention to detail with insect nets on the windows was superb especially when you need the night air for a great nights sleep in the summer, plus private lake beach access. A great location for rotorua access without having to be in the centre. The hosts were fabulous too!

NZIt is a so comfortable and clean property. Very suitable for families traveling. Landlord Anne is very nice lady, help us to solve some problems. Highly recommend.

NZEverything. Beautiful and cozy house in a beautiful location. Big rooms along with ensuite in each room. Heaps of place for kids in the backyard to play along with swings and trampoline. Private access to lake , free kayaks. The beds, linen, kitchen equipments, furnishing, everything was top notch. Free BBQ and hot tub to relax. On top of it Anne was lovely and her family were really nice and hospitable. They made us feel very comfortable. Thank you. Looking forward to bring my other family members here next time we’re in Rotorua.
