Villa Isabella

The villa was beautiful, clean and right by the pool,, but.... unfortunately there were a few things that were not good: - nothing was in the house, not even a bottle of water or coffee pods or tea, let alone washing liquid or salt when we arrived. This was our fourth time in the Algarve and the first time that we didn't feel welcomed, previously we had such a warm welcome also as we came in the evening which the property people knew and it was too late to go to a shop and we came with small children. - There was only one bath towel per person and no extra linen. When asked the towels and extra blankets were supplied. - The WIFI is very weak and wasn't working most of the time and the TV wasn't working either and that's not great with a family. The master bedroom is very big, which is nice, but it would be great to have a normal cable TV there. - When the door shutters sparked in the kitchen and the electricity went off constantly, we were told that the mechanic can only come from Monday again as they don't come in the weekends. - some builders/ workers were drilling/working on some buildings around 6am in the morning and this woke my children up.

1st rental this year I believe, as damp smell throughout for 2 days this was attempted to be covered up by air fresheners which made the smell worse. If the property was aired for a couple of days before we arrived this would have been better I think

Location was great. The property was spotlessly clean. Any questions we had were answered very quickly by the owners. Fantastic stay and will definitely be back. Thank you.

Terrific value. 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Swimming Pool outside the back door. Wifi and english television channels. Quiet area 15-20 minute stroll to the old town square or a couple of euros bolt or uber ride.

Property was perfect, much bigger than we thought. Pool was fab, literally right outside the apartment. Everything was very clean.

The washing machine! We tried to wash some t-shirts, but sadly it gave an error. We got our clothes back the next day after it had drained. Also the cooker wasn’t great!

Location brilliant we used the Uber Taxi which were. Good value for money and very efficient

Very spacious, clean and bright, the apartment is over 2 floors with the bedrooms upstairs and kitchen/living downstairs. I hadn’t been aware of that until arriving, no issue to us but could be for some people, and front door is accessible via a flight of stairs also. Perfect location to pool, very quiet, farm village restaurant just a few minutes walk away is lovely and reasonable, 20 minute walk to old town through a lovely park, and there is a family market/cafe ten minute walk away in opposite direction to old town which is lovely for a coffee and snack. Perfect location if you want to be out the busyness but close enough to enjoy it when you choose.
