The house was small but big enough to have a nice stay there. It is a traditional house but everything is (re)new and perfectly maintained. We didn't see the host during our stay but all instructions were clear and there was no need for a contact. The location is close to the center and you can enjoy feeling of true Madeira life.

Not easy to find the location for the first time because we didn't expect that we can enter a very narrow street where the house was located. Don't worry, enter :-)

Great apartment, very clean and with all the facilities that you would need in the apartment. Walking distance from store, center of the Machico, and beach.

Very clean and cozy. The host left us some fruit and very tasty wine, which we really appreciated. The house is big enough for two people and there is a sweet little terrace outside where you can eat :) The host is very accessible and getting/returning the keys was easy.

The house had everything and the contact with Pedro and his mother Ana Luisa was warm and excellent. The location was also, for us, very good in the old fishermens part of Machico. Also close to the beach and the centre of town.

Great location! Cute clean house, very comfortable bed, and all the amenities one needs. The host is amazing and communicative! Great value for the stay.

There's an ant problem which is not usually bothersome if I know in advance (i.e. I would have washed out my used cup versus leaving it in the sink overnight). Simply do not leave any sweets out and you will be fine!

Lovely small house with a cute Madeira garden. A great spot to do the eastern levadas. Feels very safe area.

Super friendly hosts which really made all the efforts to make us feel right at home. The cute house was just lovely and in tip-top shape! The place was clean, Wifi was good, supermarket, beach and downtown were within walking distance. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The neighbourhood felt very friendly and relaxed. Would definitely stay there again.

It's not so easy to find because it's in a tiny street where you can only get by foot (but you'll find it in Google Maps). You won't find parking right in front of the house but there's a public parking nearby where we always found a spot (just drive to Caminho do Larano 46 and take the next left). We had some tiny ants in the house, it seems like there's a nest around the house somewhere. You'll have to make sure not to let open food lay around which could attract them (e.g. anything sweet), then you'll be fine.
