Hill & Beach house

Great situation, walking distance to the beach. Worked perfectly for 2 couples and 2 singles. Plenty bathrooms, lots of great space and outdoor area.

Lo mejor es la tranquilidad, lo bien cuidadas que están las cosas, los pequeños detalles como que pongan vajilla de sobra y que la casa está equipada con todo tipo de detalles, películas, juegos de mesa... La casa en si ya es espectacular, pero esos pequeños detalles te hacen sentir como en casa incluso si estás de viaje.

The house was perfect!!! The owner was very attentive. Full facilities. Swimming pool And the beach near by.

Property was spotless on arrival. Kitchen/dining area was a great socialising area. And the garden/grounds were well maintained. Views were stunning. Beds were comfy and had really nice quality bedding which made for a great sleep. It was great that there was a washing machine and airer available. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pots pans etc for making home cooked meals for the whole family. BBQ area was a lovely bonus too. Half an hour walk to the beach or 2 minute drive.

The pool really requires some maintenance, there is lots of tiles off meaning that there’s quite a lot of green build up on the areas where the tiles are missing and the edges of the tiles that are left exposed and these are sharp which resulted in my niece cutting her leg.

The house was beautiful and very spacious. We particularly liked the kitchen onto the patio area by the pool. The beds and bedding were of a high quality.

Nice spot, big spaces, ultra clean, nice post-modern design, great beds, nice water rooms Owners obviously very kind people, Portuguese always welcoming and attentionful, available n reactive when necessary

A shame the neighbour's house next door blinds the whole view on the ocean from the lounge, but that was after the house was built The tree edge is too high to enjoy the view when sit at the table outside on the terrace Beware if infiltrations of water from the upper terrace (the best view of the house, but the wall hides it from the bedroom) into the wooden ceiling of the ground terrace Last but not least, the pool was disappointing : filtration got obviously stuck, needs urgent refection and an internal liner has to be implemented since all the small earthenware are peeling off..., only 3 out 5 pulsors are functioning, main aspiration on deep floor not functioning neither, therefore, the water at the rear of the pool doesn't clean up really well or not at all, we had to leave the filtration system ourselves on manual for 2 days to start to get it more or less suitable for the kids Algaes start to develop on the edges, and we had a small visitor enjoying it : a little frog in it. Not acceptable for such a price for a week. We told the owner, said he was sorry for this situation. Got a reclamation on Booking, got refunded with 20€... I have a Genius level 3 membership.
