Stone Dreams - Pedra da Atafona

Everything was very fine! This cottage like structure is in a location in front of the sea, 10 min away by walk from natural pools where to have a refreshing bath, near the little village centre with a bar and a market. The village is very peaceful and beautiful. From the location, You hear the sounds of ocean waves on the rocks and during the night you can see a beautiful sky full of stars, sitting on the sofa outside the house. There is also a car parking near there. Inside, a traditional kitchen where you can cook or grill seafood, two bedrooms with their own bathrooms, a living room but I suggest you to have dinner outside enjoying the panorama. Everything was clean and fine, but what we really appreciate was the hospitality of the hosts, which was extraordinary: at the arrival, they prepared for us typical food as cheese, sweet bread, butter and jam, and a bottle of white wine. We were hungry after the ascent of mount Pico and we didn’t find any restaurant or market open (they usually close very early), se they really save our dinner! Then they give us many advise about what to do in pico, they were ready for every our request. And they really help us when one of my friend had a problem whit another reservation in another structure, accepting him in their structure. So, I think the best hosts ever found at all!

We gave it a 10 because the system doesn't allow 11. Truly amazing spot! The setting is idyllic and the couple that run it couldn't be more kind and helpful! They went above and beyond and really made our holiday special.
