Run away from this place! They ask for a 250 euros deposit, and they don't care about what you say. We didn't break anything, just because we didn't start the washing machine because they just left 1 capsule per day, and didn't throw the garbage out, they just gave back 170 euros. Even when I tried to explain the reason, they didn't care. No air conditioning, and the coffee is one per person for the entire stay.

Design

Rural housing …. Very cold no central heating … so individual heaters and humidifier and the house electrical did not support all fuse box switched off all the time .. Tge house itself is attached in rural village not much light .. the walls are cold and wet …. Musty …. The only bath in main house is in the kitchen area … the courtyard with pool and outdoor seating is nice with sun ….. the back tv room and fireplace designed great but cold … and the second bath is in the detached back bedroom designed nice but cold ….the house would be better in hot summer

Cleanliness, decoration, totally exclusive and private space. The detail of the record collection and the record player was excellent!

At times the quiet was disturbed by the neighbors of the house next door... a minor theme that the hosts do not control, but that should be noted.

The property is well located in a rural village close to good walking and running paths. On some nights a free concert is provided by the neighbourhood dogs barking until the early hours.

We rented a 4-bedroom house for the extra space and were assigned the smallest double bed of 130cm, the host did not check in advance if this met our requirements. Limited facilities provided, no dishwasher tabs and 0.5 coffee pods per guest per day; the alternative coffee making facility shown in the pictures was not present. The owner wanted a security deposit by bank transfer, this was only communicated late in the night before travel even though I had advised travel details earlier in the week. A lot of time and additional fees were involved in arranging the deposit and its return

very tastefully appointed. lovely courtyard. a taste of rural Portugal with some stunning landscapes in the region.

no contingency. our daughter had food poisoning one night. fortunately she was not sick but had she been, we would not have been able to change the bed or put on a wash. also no kettle, and only one small pot which was damaged so I didn’t want to boil water for tea in it.

The location was perfect for us, as we have family living in the village, it’s very rural, with 3 bars, 2 that do food lunchtime, and one has a little shop. The house is lovely, beautifully restored, whoever did the interior has a good eye, great quality pieces.

Little things could make a difference, a bedside lamp, (I like to read when I go to bed) A second mirror in decent light, for makeup, hair etc, there’s only one in the bathroom and that gets really steamed up.
