"Near-perfect experience overall!"

This was a near-perfect stay for what we wanted. Excellent value for money. Ricardo was very friendly and helpful. Garden and views were amazing. House itself is v charming. We had the place to ourselves so had loads of space and lots of privacy. Incredible bakery, and restaurants within walking distance (though some steep hills!). Bus journey towards Funchal was a great experience too. It was great all round and hopefully we'll get chance to stay again.

We arrived in the middle of the night and it was a bit spooky! A few bugs about and we were awoken by a rooster, dogs barking and a cow! But honestly this just added to the authentic experience for us and Ricardo was very knowledgeable and reassuring. Eventually loved everything about our stay.
