Wonderful place with a wonderful host!

Beautiful property and amazing host. We really had everything we needed and the host went the extra mile by welcoming us with a lovely basket of local products. He shared with us the best spots not to miss along with all details you might need for a wonderful visit. The house is quite big, with 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room and a nice kitchen well equipped with everything you might need. The terrace also has a lovely view to the garden and the ocean. The house is situated in a very quiet and peaceful part of the island. Would totally come back anytime to stay here- thank you Mr. Paulo for the hospitality and kindness towards your guests. We felt truly lucky to be there

The terrace door- it locks when closed from outside. This was the only downside we encountered as we did not realize the door closes automatically and found ourselves locked out. Luckily for us, the owner is very kind person and did every possible effort to help us out till we were back safely in the house in the middle of night. Many thanks Mr. Paulo :)

The host was very kind

Very narrow streets.

The house, the territory, space, parking on premises - everything is a hidden gem. It is so great, you are like in a castle, having everything you need and even more. Ocean view from balcony is a plus of course. I think I could spend all vacation just jn this house without visiting other places in island :) Very comfortable! Paulo is the best person in Azores. Indeed a great host - helpful and responsive. When I had a flat tire on my car and needed communication with insurance in Portuguese, Paulo immediately arrived to the apartament thoughbit was late evening, and did his best to help. His tips about places in island are also great.

It’s a matter of private taste, but I did not like the neighborhood much, as well as this part of the island - beaches, towns, streets, etc. Western and eastern parts were more picturesque and cozy to drive around.

The house is beautifully furnished and the host is super nice and helpful! All in all an excellent place! It’s everything we could have wished for!

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. We highly recommend this accommodation. The location was excellent, a country house fully equiped, washing machine, air conditioned in every room, etc.,all you need like home. Comfortable and clean in such a great location, big beds and bedding, we slept really well. Paulo the host was super attentive and friendly. Welcome basket with local products. It was a great and amazing experience.

Beautiful house and surroundings. Kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed and more. Beds were comfy and heating/ac is available in each room. Location is perfect as a base to see the whole island and quite at night. Paulo was a great and very responsive host and ensured that we were comfortable and well versed on places to visit.

Great house, all essentials present, clean

It is a great location in many ways. It is in the middle of the island, allowing quick access to both parts of the island. It is in convinient proximity to the major city and airport / 18 min drive, but far enough not to be disturbed by their presence if one likes country-side silence, hearing birds singing only.🙂 As a family of 3 people, we enjoyed having spacious rooms in the nice stylish house with a great view on the ocean from a terrace where we had had our dinners; the house is on a little hill, so one can nicely see surrounding. The house is well equipped if one wants to cook himself / herself. There's a BBQ place. There is a nice sitting room where one can spend a cozy time in the evening. The house comes with a big garden with a lot of vegetation, e.g., banana palm-trees and many other kinds of plants. It's cool for the kids. The house owner, Paulo, was very friendly and helpful. He was very kind to guide us through the house and area around it. He provided us with his own detailed written guide on the places to visit on the island, giving us many verbal tips. Paulo was also supporting us during our 6 day stay, e.g., helping to arrange whale watching. We have enjoyed our stay in this house so much. Our kid asked us if we could stay a longer there. But any vacation ends. And we had a good one. 🙂
