Lucia our host gave us a very warm welcome. The location was excellent

The stairs were a slight issue as my sister has mobility issues and that wasn't mentioned in the property description. The " plunge pool" came as far as my ankles, another misleading description and the steps to the roof terrace were very steep.

All the steps were a great work out for my arthritic knees! ( in a positive way)

The location was great, very close to plenty of restaurants, marina and Pingo Doce shop. The rooftop terrace was amazing, don't really have to go to the beach! The building itself is very charismatic, loved the high ceilings and characteristics. The host is a lovely lady, who responds very quickly if you have issues.

No fire alarms in any of the rooms, not even in the kitchen. Bedrooms are very small, and the bed in the main bedroom is very squeaky - you'll wake up every time your partner (or yourself) turns around (although the mattress and the pillows were good!). VERY loud neighbours, early in the mornings, and just next to the main bedroom... The cleanliness wasn't great, especially on the sun terrace and balcony floors. The glassware and the plates weren't very clean either, and the dishwashing sponge was dirty. There's AC only upstairs, so it didn't reach the ground floor bedrooms, and the nights were quite sweaty, even early June. There were one fan available, but the lack of sockets made it impossible to use. Loved that there was a washing machine and a dishwasher, but you'll have to bring or buy your own detergents. Be wary of the dishwasher though - we got mild electric shocks, when touching the metal parts! We did inform the owner, hopefully she'll get it fixed asap. Lots of stairs, might not work for elderly people or someone with disabilities.

Location of the property was brilliant. Very close (one block) from the marina and ferry terminal) and similarly the bars and restaurants were only the same stone's throw away. Rooftop terrace was a fantastic vantage point and we were able to enjoy sunshine late into the evening.

Was a bit dark inside and the furniture is oldy worldy , but that's not necessarily a bad thing as the property still retains its traditional roots as a pescadores casa which you need to embrace. Balcony (not terrace) could have done with a hose down, but this probably due to the sand /dust that gets blown in with the saraha winds etc. Everything else fine.

Beautiful location, a real home from home with a plunge pool on the roof terrace for when it gets too hot. Amazing host and very comfortable

The location & the tiled rooms. The shower. The utilities, like the washing machine & dishwasher. The Wi-Fi was good. The balcony. The comfortable double bed.

It was rather hot downstairs in the 2 double bedrooms as the only A/C unit was upstairs in the kitchen/dining area. A couple of fans would be advantageous to the property. No wardrobes at all. Hooks & hangers though.

it was an incredible house, with two double bedrooms, a bathroom, and lounge downstairs, and a single bedroom and kitchen, plus balcony terrace on the second floor. the third floor was an entire roof top terrace with lovely views. it was amazing being in a whole house, as initially we thought it was a smaller apartment. it really felt like we lived there/it was so homely. amazing location too, you're right on the seafront practically and great nightlife. there's nothing I could fault !!
