Refúgio de Calheiros

This is an amazing find, a beautiful little oasis that lives up to the name of the village — a refuge.

Atentidmento do Sr. Paulo (um verdadeiro amigo). Localização excelente. Quarto amplo. Voltaremos!!!! água da fonte excelente, até levamos uma garrafa. Piscina ótima.

Apareceram algumas pequenas formigas no quarto. Faltou sabonete/gel banho. No quarto em que ficamos, deveria ser colocada uma pequena cortina sobre a porta de entrada. Sol entra até a cama, de manhã cedo, após as 7:00. Seria ideal haver 2 travesseiros para casa hospede.

Our stay was exceptional, our host super friendly and accessible we will definitely be coming back.

The location is good, close to the natural park and the city. Clean and spacious room.

The familymaid handed me the keys and welcoming guests was clearly not in the jobdescription, didn't felt welcome. As soon as you leave you're immediatly on the street, there is no sidewalk and it's a busy street. Be carefull with children. In the morning the sunlightexposure prevents to sleep out. Doesn't feel comfortable to walk in the garden as it feels like you are on private property, which you actually are.

Very cosy appartement. Paulo was very happy to tell the interesting story behind the house and the one of the Duke next door.
