Casa do Loureiro 1 - Seia - Serra da Estrela

When booking it wasn't clear that my reservation was for the bottom floor "house", which should be called room instead, as the building itself is the house and contains 2 units - thus it was also not clear to me that the garden and other common areas were shared. Considering I travelled with my dog, I couldn't left it alone in the garden with the other guests entering/exiting. The bottom unit has very little natural light, with just a small window. The blackout curtain of that window is broken, as are a lot of other things in the house... the trash can pedal, the handle on the bathroom door, the shower and even the toaster. Also, if you are over 1.85m you need to watch your head. Overall our stay at this place was very disappointing. Probably a different experience if we had stayed at the top unit.

The quiet serene location

the views, the quietness & comfortability of the place.

It is what's on the pictures so there is no unpleasant surprises, all clean and comfortable. Enough kitchen and dinning room utensils to use if you are cooking, as we did. I would just say be careful with the stairs outside as it seems that due to the weather seem getting unstable. As we had a 5 months baby we were always afraid of the stairs. Apart thats all great!
