Tagaytay Suite 2

We like the idea that they let us be, the moment we checked in the whole house feels like home. We cooked, ktv, netflix till 4am and drink. It was fun.

The stove turns off by itself while cooking so had to stay by the kitchen to make sure its on.

The staff is nice...

Water interruption during midnite until 4-5am. Sink is clogged for 2 days of our stay.. Need to upgrade the facilities...

Quiet location and we were able to stay with our furbabies. Karaoke was a plus!

No wifi service during our stay. A back-up provider could've been in place so that the stay was more enjoyable.

The place is wide and cozy

1) The location - even tho you can hear the vehicular traffic from the main road, the home was tucked away enough that the road noise is minimal. The home was easy to find using Waze. BUT, if you are looking for ANY Tagaytay view, there is none. 2) Kitchen, cooking, dining area - well appointed; we liked the water kettle (and used it a lot.) Being able to cook and share meals w/ family is always a plus. 3) Home was very spacious and "cool," since it's on the second floor. We left the windows open to let the breeze cool the common areas of the house. The extension / karaoke bar is a very wonderful addition! 4) Parking was easy, there was enough room for 2 cars. 5) The towels, sheets, pillows were all clean and smelled fresh. 6) The overall value of the home, for the price we rented it for. 7) Kuya Manny was a very gracious attendant. He made sure we had everything we asked for, and he was easy to reach. When we had the plumbing situation, he handled it pretty well, with the help of a few of the guests.

1) The additional cot that we requested for in one of the rooms was heavy, old and didn't really fit well in the main room. The one in the 2nd bedroom was too big, too. What worked better was the extra cot / lounge chair that was in the karaoke room. Even though the mattress was thin, at least it was more "compact." Perhaps an "inflatable" twin bed would have been better. The 2 beds were comfortable, though. 2) Some of the light fixtures needed to be replaced. The kitchen light did not turn on at all. 3) There was NO microwave. 4) The bathroom plumbing needed "a lot" of work. We were forewarned that the shower head wasn't working, but at least, hot water was available, and that was enough. We were also offered the use of the bathroom in the unit downstairs, if we needed to. 5) Overall, the property just needed a touch of paint, sealants, ligthing updates.

The location is good

The CR needs work. There is a water leak so the floor is always wet. Shower facet handles were falling off. Shower fixtures need to be replaced or cleaned. The masters bed has a very hard mattress making it somewhat uncomfortable
