Villa da Silva

The property includes 2 houses. The first 1 is a couple villa, with 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom, and the second is a big villa with 3 or 4 badrooms. We stayed at the small villa. It has a nice living room with fully equipped kitchenete. A bathroom & a bed room. The room is spacious and cosy. The bed is very comfortable. The shower is very nice. The place is well maintained and clean. It is located in a very peaceful environment. The villa has 2 new air conditioners. Wifi is not very fast but strong and stable. The only thing that may bother some people is that it is a little far from the beach, or the restaurants, or even to the nearest supermarket. It is at least 20 to 25 minutes walk. So if you don't have a car and you don't like to walk much, it might be less convenient (specially if it rains). For us it was perfect

We like staying just out of town. For us, this was easily walk-able on the low coastal road.

We got one day's serving in the coffee bar, for our three day stay. So we left a week's worth for the next guest!

The appartement is clean and well ventilated in a spot with a beautiful view. Very spacious parking facility. A lot of conveniences present, such as a washing machine, washing detergent and (welcoming) coffee pods. Host is easy to reach and communicates well.

Some basic things were missing in the apartment, such as salt and pepper, a teatowel and kitchen bench wipes. It wasn't a huge inconvenience, but it would have been nice if those things would have been there.

Nice, very new place. Large space with kitchen and washing machine (even if I did not need both of them). One idea to bring it to „five stars“: Please, let a gardener in your place to give it some of the wonderful lava-vegetation what is growing on Ilha do Pico.

The style was a kind of cold. However, that is just my taste. Other people could maybe like that.

The host reached out to us the day before our arrival and always responded fast. Even with some personal difficulties, which we were experiencing at the time, the host wanted to make sure everything was okay. The place was clean and tight, and we were welcomed with a welcome basket.

Since we weren't by car, the house's location was not ideal for us. We also found the price a bit expensive (but that might be something that is inherent to the Azores)

Cozy house at walking distance from Madalena and the Vine yards. It is not very big but has everyhing you need and very very clean. Good bed and best walk in shower. Welcome basket tonger you started in the morning and washing machine with products(not used because of weather) Big supermarkt in the area. Very quiet. Very well communication with owner and receiving keys.

Some outdoor chairs would have been nice

Rui was a great host, very helpfull, house is very cute and has everything you need, it was very clean. Wellcome basket was a really nice touch. Location was great,, close to many attractions, for some of them you can walk from the house.
