We didn't like that we had to pay 40 euro for the check-in after 8pm

The location is unbeatable. It's close to one of the best beaches of Madeira because the island doesn't have many of sandy beaches. There's no noise in the night, the village is small and quiet. There is a spectacular view out of the window of one bedroom. You can hear the sound of the sea when the window is left open. The mattresses are comfy, the room temperature for sleeping is fine even in the middle of the summer season. The appliances in the household are sufficient. There's a supermarket in close proximity. There is plenty to do regarding surroundings. We were satisfied with what we got for the money and would go back.

There's not much negative to say. It would be good if the entry room that serves as a sitting room had a coffee table. Also the hairdryer was quite vintage. There are few other things that are not directly the landlord's fault. The walk up the hill after coming back from the beach . Sometimes you can see the random cockroach but it's not that the house is not clean, you come across them on the street too, it's the climate.

The owner of the house was so nice! Best greetings for him!! And thank him so much for all! Localization was okey, close to the bar and shop. To the beach only 5 minutes by walk. I love the village and calm there.

Should be a little bit cleaner.

terrible service campaign. they answer your questions automatically - like a robot. Their main answer is “we are not to blame. Everything is fine.". all they will do is charge 40 euros if you check in after 20:00. but they won’t even check the cleaning!!! the apartment on the first floor was poorly cleaned! The refrigerator stank! The sofa needs cleaning. I gave a high rating because this apartment has a wonderful and helpful owner. It’s a pity that you won’t receive his direct contacts right away, but will communicate through a service company - a terrible intermediary between you and the owner of the house:(
