São Jorge Spot - Alojamento

beautiful view. 1 minute walk to an ocean swimming area and a little Cafe that's open most of the day. if you don't have a car, be sure to pass by a market to get some breakfast food though.

The location is great, with an awesome view of Pico island.

A well equipped cozy cabin on the side of the hill overlooking the sea and on clear days you can even see Mount Pico across the water. It had air conditioning, fridge, cutlery, plates and a separated sleeping area with a drop down partition blind. There was no issue with hot water or water pressure when I was in. The key drop-off was easy - was placed on the door. The space was clean and spacious. Diana and Jorge were very communicative, making sure we were settling down okay and if there was anything they could do to help us. They also put together a very informative folder of suggested intineraries, taxi driver contacts, maps, routes, restaurants nearby and their hours, etc. Our hairdryer didn't work the first night, and Jorge came to deliver another one the same night (super nice of him to do that). We were also lucky enough to do an early check in. There is a nicely lit path from the main road to the small road that leads up to the 3 bungalows - cannot miss the entrance. Would recommend a stay here if you are in Sao Jorge :)

The pillows were a bit flat and the house was a bit humid inside so it was a bit difficult to dry your clothes if you washed them (most likely because of weather, but not a big problem)

Incredible location and the perfect little spot to rest in the evenings after exploring the island.

The pillows were pretty poor and could be replaced but that is my only complaint (and I still slept fine!)

Top location. Breathtaking view. Close to the airport.
