The location is really good and the ocean view in the night was really a plus. Its really near to restaurants and the beach and suppermarket.

Our stay at the property was extremely disappointing due to several serious issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and overall comfort. The house is poorly maintained, with dirty, stained walls and peeling paint. The sofa was so filthy that we had to cover it with a sheet before using it. The condition of the furniture was significantly worse than depicted in the photos. Cleanliness was virtually non-existent. Basic cleaning supplies were either broken or unusable, leaving us no choice but to purchase our own cleaning products to clean both the house and bathrooms. The bed linens had clearly been used before our arrival—they were dirty and covered in hair. Although fresh towels were placed on the beds, the sheets and blankets underneath had not been cleaned. The bathrooms were also unacceptable. We found hair and sand on the floors and surfaces. The downstairs bathroom featured a vacuum toilet system that constantly leaked, and both bathrooms had clear glass doors offering no privacy. The downstairs bedroom was unusable due to a strong musty odor. Mold was present on the curtains and walls, and even after airing the room for three days, the smell persisted—posing a potential health risk. Additionally, the air conditioning was non-functional. When I contacted the owner, I was told this had been disclosed on the booking site, which was not the case.

Great views, steps from private beach and short walk to main beach. Very spacious and clean. Washing machine was a bonus!

Location to all amenities and The View from the balcony. Lots of space within the apartment and it was nice to have the laundry access.

Street parking was tricky at times.

Lovely house near the beach and main areas of Luz. The small beach down the path right beside the house is lovely for kids. Lots of rocks to explore and a small sandy area. For a family who spent lots of time on beach, the shower basically at the front door was very useful.

TV could have done with freesat or even chromecast or something.

Water view and location was great. Place was spacious and clean.

The air conditioning was broken when we arrived. We called the next morning but it was Sunday and were told no one could come out because it was a Sunday. We were told someone would be there Monday afternoon which did not happen. They finally arrived to fix it our last day there. Our infant baby was with us and it was very uncomfortable for it to be that hot outside and inside without the AC for most of our stay.

Location excellent right beside praia prainha and local shops and restaurants, excellent views and very peaceful. Keep an eye out for dolphins when on the beachfront, I have visited luz now for 18 years and this visit is where finally spotted them not far from shore

At night could be noisy with revellers at local bar and them leaving returning to where they stay. Tv did not work and neither did dvd player (if dvd had worked unsure how were meant to change movies as precariously high up on wall over a stairwell out of any arms reach). This didn't spoil the stay obviously but would have been nice to have at night time

The location and housing were just perfect! We were so close to the ocean and had a beautiful ocean view to enjoy :) Groceries and everything necessary were very close in walking distance. The bed was super comfortable, bathrooms were also great 👍🏻 The kitchen has many supplies so it was a nice opportunity to make breakfast or dinner ourselves if we didn't feel like going out. Would definitely go back and recommend to others, we had a wonderful time there
