"Suited our needs perfectly."

Three separate bedrooms. Two bathrooms. Nice overall accommodation. Off road parking.

This is not a criticism of the property but be aware to get to town by foot is about a 20 minute walk downhill. This of course means up hill all the way back. Just be ready for this as it’s steep.

Spacious, well equipped semi detached property filled with antique/retro furnishings. Spotlessly clean. A little bit out of town, but a brisk 20 min walk downhill to the centre. Plenty taxis available at reasonable cost. Lots of restaurants. Very scenic.

Barking dogs a bit of a pest but quiet overnight. Cats seemed to dominate the property outside space. Lumpy pillows.

Good location 5 euro taxi fare from main centre. Good facilities, and great size house for family group for vacation.

Animals (dogs and cats) in the neighbourhood spoilt the quietness of the location .

"Very nice accommodation"

The host, Duarte, was kind and extremely helpful. Although he didn't speak English, we were able to communicate through translation apps. The treats waiting for us when we arrived were much appreciated. The house was spacious and very clean. It was quiet with a nice view from the back bedrooms.

There was nothing about the house that we didn't like. However, be aware that if anyone in your party has knee or back issues, walking into town doesn't really work out as it is about 20 minutes downhill. You can get a taxi in town at the train station to go back to the house, but having a car for this location would be recommended. According to the host, Uber is not in Regua.

We liked the location. Beautiful views from the back bedrooms balconies .House had everything we needed and the host was VERY generous leaving us a pineapple, lovely homemade bread, wine, tea coffeee, bananas, etc...My husband and I are walkers so we enjoyed the walk down to Regua,s restaurants and sights. 10-15 mins)....Be sure to go up the walkway in front of the house to the quaint little village above....Beautiful views from the Parc de Peso and a lovely church. You see this village from the left back bedroom balcony Ourfriends would drive down to town and we would meet them there....The house was spacious and we made use of all the rooms...

Decor is one.s own personal taste.....Remember you are in a foreign country
