Azorenhaus am Atlantik - Family House

Von Anfang bis Ende war unser Aufenthalt perfekt. Gastgeber Dirk hat uns persönlich vom Flughafen abgeholt und bequem zum Ferienhaus gebracht — ein großartiger Service, der sofort für Wohlfühlatmosphäre gesorgt hat. Das Haus selbst ist außergewöhnlich gut ausgestattet: Es fehlt an absolut nichts. Als besonderes Highlight hat uns ein liebevoll gefüllter Willkommenskorb mit köstlichen Lebensmitteln und einer Flasche Wein erwartet. Die Lage des Hauses ist spektakulär — direkt am Meer, mit einem unvergesslichen Blick auf die gegenüberliegende Insel und den majestätischen Pico. Unterhalb des Hauses befindet sich eine charmante Badestelle, die in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar ist. Dirk war auch darüber hinaus ein hervorragender Gastgeber: Er hat uns zum Ausgangspunkt einer der schönsten Wanderungen gebracht und später sogar zum Hafen gefahren, als wir unsere Reise zur nächsten Insel fortgesetzt haben. Ein Ferienhaus mit Herz, Service und einer Lage zum Verlieben — uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Everything!!! Perfect place! From the moment we arrived the owner welcomed us with a smile and made us feel at home. The location is first line to the ocean.. There is nothing better than that. The house itself is well equipped and clean, everything was thought of at a high level.

The stone house had a beautiful view of the ocean in a very picturesque village. The facility was very clean, modern and well stocked including a lovely basket of Azorean delectables upon arrival. Dirk was friendly and very helpful, even gave us a drive to a trail head on the other side of the island. I would recommend highly!

Nothing! What a wonderful, relaxing place to stay.

The owner is an amazing host but most of all an amazing person. Very welcoming and providing everything we could need to have the best time at this amazing place. The house is just perfect with an incredible detailed cleaning. Also the garden with the amazing Pico view where we could have great times taking breakfast and dinner. Thank you very much for everything and we hope to come back very soon.

From the first moment, we felt like home. The owners are extremely hospitable and helpful: a basket full of goodies, fully equipped kitchen, rides to the starting point of walks, information,.... The perfect house is in a very quiet neighbourhood and has a beautiful view of the sea and Pico. Thank you Ulrike and Dirk for a lovely stay!!!

Nothing

Everything was simply perfect! Ulrike and dirk were super nice hosts, the house was very well equipped, swimming spot is just a few meters away, we absolutely enjoyed.

Absolutely nothing comes to mind except that we had to leave this beautiful place after only 4 nights.

We liked everything. It was quite comfortable and the location was simply amazing. Being able to sit and watch the waves, regardless of the weather, is something special. The house was very well equipped; there was nothing we needed that we didn’t have. And, the hosts were very nice and provided us fresh eggs, water, butter, cheese. They were available for any questions and highly responsive. We could have stayed a month!

Truly there was nothing we didn’t like. We loved everything about it.
