"Good"

The inner patio with garage door for parking a car. Very simple and spacious house. Comfy beds. Everything was in the house to stay in comfort. A small shop with food, water, alco, some basic home chemicals etc. in 2 min walk distance. Good restaurant at the same distance. Welcoming and charming French-speaking hostess.

The only great dislike was the church bell all the night long.. each hour.. OMG.. Probably ear plugs could solve the problem. The prepayment should be made by bank.. international transfer. The bank details were given 3 AM in the night 1 day before our stay. Not very convenient procedure.

"Very good"

Janeiro de Cima is a peaceful and wonderful place for a family vacation. The house is well equipped and contains everything needed. Everything is in walking range. It's a wonderful traditionally stone built house, with enough room for a family of 5. Internet connection is very good. The kitchen has everything you need.

Because of the traditional structure, the rooms and especially the lower floor, are not light enough.

"An enchanting Casa and village"

The property is very appealing. The interior is comfortable and clean. The host was wonderful, welcoming and informative. People in the community were friendly and went out of their way to help us find the Casa or to provide directions even though we spoke/understood little Portugese.
