A simpatia, a atenção e cuidado por parte dos proprietários, sr. Teixeira e esposa, foi muito bom. A qualidade do apartamento, tudo muito limpo, recente e bonito. Gostamos também da localização, muito boa, e das vistas que são magníficas, tudo em harmonia numa natureza linda. Foi tudo muito. Muito obrigado ao sr. Teixeira e esposa, numa próxima estadia nesta localidade, tentaremos novamente este alojamento. Obrigado

Casa do Luzio could be described as a very large house devided into six apartments with views of mountains, farm land and trees which is mostly quite on the edge of town, we booked this accommodation for a four week stay. We arrived later than we expected and interrupted Luzios' parents dinner which we apologized for, despite our interrupting dinner he was very welcoming and happily and enthusiastically showed us around our spacious apartment, noting the Veranda had bird droppings and someone would be in to clean it tomorrow, Saturday. Luzios' father is very kind and friendly as is the dog, attends to his Olive trees and garden with great care and even shared some strawberries with us. Sadly, upon checking the apartment the first evening here, Friday, the bath tub was filthy with dirty rings at a numerous water levels. The grouting and the sealant around the bath appeared to have not been cleaned very well for a very long time stained with mildew. The bath plugs, there were two, were also very dirty and rusty; I booked this Hospitality establishment for many reasons, a bath, a bidé, peaceful rest and to discover some more beautiful areas of Portugal, a holiday etc. The bedding is very clean and washing line fresh. The next day, Saturday, Sonia, Luzios' wife, and the cleaning person did come. Sonia apologized for not being here for our arrival and offered us a warm loaf of bread Luzio had purchased as a gift for us, very kind, sadly there was no bread knife in the kitchen so it was a little challenging to cut, but nice to eat. The sealant around the bath remains filthy and needs removing and replacing.

Some mornings and evenings the neighborhood dogs bark, I have experienced this elsewhere in Portugal where people have guard dogs living outside to guard their houses. The local farmers are considerate and begin work about eight in the morning, I believe it was the construction site up the hill dropping what sounded like rubble about seven in the morning, but only the one morning. In my experience of apartment style buildings in Portugal they are usually not insulated/sound proofed, so some of the noise is not all the fault of the people which were above us for a while moving furniture around or the family below enjoying life, until I messaged them about the noise from below, they may not have known they could be heard and how loud it can get in the master bedroom. Our last week here and some new guests above us and are very noisy, every night so far they returned to the apartment just gone eleven at night and moving furniture around, talking very loud and walk around very heavy footed, awoken me from a very deep sleep, I wondered what was happening. Despite my filter with booking.com set to find accommodation with parking and the property having plenty of off street private parking, see a satellite map view, guests are asked to park on the corner of a road, which has many stones which could be thrown up by passing vehicles, most vehicles drive past slowly but not all. If a person reads the information section for Casa do Luzio on booking.com it states free public parking is available nearby, it is all on the road. There are sounds like a kitchen below our master bedroom and has on more than one occasion became very noisy, tonight June 30, 2024 between approximately eight and ten PM as it has been on some other afternoons and evenings the past two weeks.

The location was perfect and linked to many amenities. The compound is very clean and spacious. The area is secure and safe

I love everything however the receptionist need to be more visible or accessible
