Duarte Houses - Casa T1 - com vista mar

Clean. Excellent view. Close to restaurants (down a lot of stairs to get to the village)

It was smaller than anticipated with less parking nearby than I thought (although we found some fine)

The location up in the hills was stunning from the private roof terrace! The staff were helpful and take good care of the accommodation. Facilities were great, property had air-conditioning so nice and cool inside.

Rooftop view is stunning, worth the cost. Room was clean and cozy. Kitchen facility was great.

Room was quite humid and smelled not great(old cigarette smell). I couldnt find cotton blanket so I used soft blanket in the closet.

Superb roof terrace with seating for each apartment, fantastic views. Our host communicated very well and showed us around. Not an English speaker, but had enough nouns to get by and better than my non existent Portuguese! On first entry the apartment appears a little gloomy, but then open the blinds and it brightens up. All facilities were there that you would need. No views at all from the apartment, but more than made up by the views from the roof terrace. BBQ facility in the courtyard. Washing machine if you need it. The walk up from the front will have you breathing a little, but we're walkers and relished the exercise; not so far really. The mini market in the 'village' takes a bit of finding; its on the crossroads and looks like a house. Was never open when we were around, but clearly operational. Very good Min Preco supermarket 850m down the hill - excellent range of food and drinks.

Great location, spotless apartment, very responsive and accommodating host and the gorgeous ocean view from terrace.
