Newly renovated 2 bedroom townhouse - close to Salema Beach

Great location; close to town and beach. Well equipped kitchen. Clothes washer was appreciated.

No beach towels. No instructions as to whether there was maid service. Trash built up and we did not know what to do with it. That included toilet paper waste. Shower stall leaked into the corner of the bathroom behind the toilet causing musty smell. Security lights outside shine brightly into the bedrooms; need blackout curtains. Door to the outside is always locked. If you step out and the door closes you are screwed.

The living room furniture is dirty and worn - time to replace it. The bedside rug in the multi-bed room was dirty. That’s easy to throw in the wash

Kitchen facilities were very basic and need updating Some kitchen items were very worn out and / or not clean Seating in living room area needs updating and thorough cleaning, especially the sofa Blackout blinds needed throughout upstairs

Excellent location. Spacious. Easy parking. Tidy well equipped accommodation with Aircon.

Due to poor weather we spent more time indoors than we would have liked. Another sofa as 2 chairs not that comfy,

The place was less than 5 minutes from am an entrance to a spectacular beach. The place was comfortable and restful and the host was extremely helpful in replacing a few items that were missing or were being repaired. Interaction with the service team was cordial and responsive. The bathroom and shower worked well and ot allowed us a chance to greater enjoy the time spent. There is a good store providing groceries less than 8 minutes walk from the residence.

Our stay in Salema was so much better than the previous location that it is hard to pick anything. The front door has no front knob and you must keep the house keys with you in order to not let get locked out. The lighting in the main floor was found to be too bright. Perhaps a more moderate illumination would be less harsh and give a warmer atmosphere while dining or reading.

It took us and the Uber driver a very long time to find the address. You need to fix that

Salema itself is a great location

The accommodation was shabby and dirty. Poor quality fixtures and fittings. Stains on the duvets. The shower room and bathroom needed upgrading. Ants in the property.

Location was just up the hill from the beach and most restaurants. Parking was available right outside the door.

It would be nice if there were beach towels. There is no freezer and the oven is a convection oven on the counter, which worked fine, but be aware if this is important to you.
