Number 10 Beach House

Está muy cerca de la playa. Está muy bien equipado, la cocina tiene de todo. Hemos disfrutado de los desayunos y las cenas en la terraza. Está en una zona rodeada de kilómetros de playas. En días de calor en las ciudades, se disfruta del fresco del Atlántico.

La escalera para subir a la planta superior es un poco incómoda. No es inconveniente si se sabe de antemano.

The property sits in a nice secluded location...The Beach is about a 10 minute walk. The house itself is comfortable with all the things you need for a great adventure...Inside and outside dining options are excellent...Having a fenced in yard was a bonus for my dogs!

An excellent place to spend holidays with family or friends. Only a few minutes' walk from the ocean, but if you check the weather forecast around Santa Cruz, you will realize that this is even a plus. You can see the ocean from the backyard while you feel protected from the stronger ocean gusts for alfresco dining. A bonus is definitely the possibility to park your car in front of the house without having to drive around to find a free space.

My parents and I stayed here for 12 days. The property is in a very quiet area on the outskirts of a small town. The first impression of the property met my expectations provided the photos on booking.com. The property is very well stocked with everything you would need to enjoy the kitchen and the beach. The property seems to have been renovated quite recently with up to date windows, kitchen, and bathrooms. This was a perfect size for the 3 of us, but i think it would have been a bit tight with any more adults. The host was available any time I had a question about something. The house did get a bit cold at night but there were heaters for every room. The outdoor space is very peaceful and relaxing. Upon leaving, minimal effort was requested by the host for clean up, which really decreased our time spent on cleaning up the place (only garbage taken out was requested). We didn't venture out on foot to the beach, but there is a popular beach only 4 min drive away which was beautiful with amenities. You could see the ocean and the sunset from the property. We did day trips to Evora, Lisbon, Sintra, and Porto which took about 1-2 hours to get to. Santa Cruz is a small beach town with some great places to eat or take away only 4 min away.

Although there was a fire pit and bbq, there was no axe to properly use the fire pit or the bbq. I would suggest buying one for the property so that the guests can use these wonderful extras. There are no screens on the windows, and therefore unfortunately you do have flies enter frequently. I would suggest having screens put on the windows so you can enjoy the ocean air without the flies entering the house. Although the kitchen was extremely stocked, there was no measuring cups and spoons. I would suggest buying these. The welcome book should be updated as some places that were recommended were no longer in business (Bakery) and the wifi password was incorrect.

It was super cozy house with everything that we needed to enjoy our vacation. Beach is on walkable distance, like 5-10 mins. 1hour drive to Lisbon, which is also fine. All other beautiful places are also nearby.
