GBThe property is on the outskirts of Aveiro and not really close to the city. This didn’t bother us as we had a car, but it would probably be difficult without one. We liked the off road parking and as there were only 2 of us staying the accommodation was very generous. The only issue we had was light coming into the main bedroom and we didn’t realise until morning there were shutters. We improvised by using a blanket. The bed was comfortable in the room we used and the apartment was well equipped. The host recommended a restaurant about 5-10 minutes drive away which she booked for us. It was a great restaurant with traditional food. The apartment is self contained.
We found that the property was fine for us. We knew that there were dogs at the property before we arrived. However, that wouldn’t be for everyone. It didn’t affect our stay, but might affect others. The apartment is conjoined to the host’s property, although it is self-contained. This may not suit everyone.

PTAmelia, the hostess, is lovely. She took really good care of us.
Not much. The location isn't far from the center or from food shopping. I travel with my dogs, so the house and yard was perfect for them. The thing to know, though, is that Amelia is a dog lover that rescues dogs. So her dogs are right there behind the rental. For a fellow dog lover this is GREAT! For person not fond of barking, it may not be.

GBLocation and size of property, lots of space for four people. Private parking is always a bonus. The host was very friendly and made sure we had what we needed for our stay.
USBeautiful home with spacious bedrooms with excellent bedding. We slept well. Large kitchen and living room with working fireplace. The host left for us some Porto and cookies. Thank you very much. We could park the car inside the property, very secure place.
