Friends'house - azores

L’emplacement de la location était parfait pour visiter l’ile. L’accueil par l’hôte était très chaleureux, la location correspond bien aux photos.

Jorge, notre hôte, nous a contacté régulièrement avant l'arrivée en nous donnant toutes les informations utiles et nous a accueilli dans la maison bien que nous soyons arrivés tard (vers 21h30). De plus, il avait prévu de quoi faire un premier petit déjeuner pour le lendemain matin ainsi que des boissons : c'est super sympa ! Les draps et les serviettes de bain sont fournies, il y a de quoi faire des lessives, il y a déjà des détergents que l'ont peut utiliser. La cour intérieure ainsi que la terrasse à l'étage qui donne sur l'océan sont vraiment un plus. J'ai beaucoup aimé la bibliothèque, dommage que je ne sache pas lire le Portugais. Mais étant amoureux des livres, j'ai vraiment apprécié ! La maison est très bien située, on peut rayonner de partout dans l'île très facilement. Des restaurants et un supermarché ne sont pas loin non plus. Jorge est resté accessible tout au long du séjour, a rapidement répondu à nos questions et s'est montré prévenant.

On peut garer une petite voiture devant la maison mais c'est compliqué si elle est plus grosse. Heureusement il y a un parking gratuit à quelques mètres donc ça n'est pas non plus un gros problème.

The house is amazing. Spacious, in calm neighbourhood but at the same time - almost in the center of the island, even the furthest POI could be reached within 30-40 minutes (by car). Nice yard to enjoy morning coffee, big balcony with ocean view. Well equiped kitchen. The appliances were not shiny new, but everything worked fine. TV has lots of channels. The host left to us nice little things I really appreciate - like some tea, sugar, coffee capsules, few bottles of beer and so on. Overall experience is "an appartment SHARING like it supposed to be" - I've felt more like staying in friend's or my loving uncle's house. Oh, some of comments mentioned cocroaches, but I wasn't lucky enough to meet them. On the contrary - I was more surprised about the lack of insects - no flies, no mosquitos, even the fruit flies did not bother us.

We had a wonderful stay at Friends'House – the house is incredibly comfortable and perfectly equipped for a visit to the Azores. It has private parking, two lovely terraces, and a stunning view of the ocean. The host has truly thought of everything: from umbrellas and raincoats to trekking poles, making it easy to enjoy the island in any weather. The kitchen had all we needed, and we were warmly welcomed with basic groceries for our first breakfast. Every detail was carefully prepared to make our stay pleasant and easy. We sincerely thank and warmly greet Jorge– your hospitality made our stay extra special!

Everything is fine.

Host was very friendly, even though he didn't speak a lot of English. He even came over to help us when we thought the oven was on (which it wasn't hah). Host also left us complimentary bread and several other snacks/beverages, which was very nice. Full kitchen and fridge Parking available Wifi worked well downstairs

Several of the sliding windows didn't lock, which left us uneasy (though, it is a very safe town) Wifi didn't work well upstairs
