Casa Rodrigues

The apartment is spacy. Has a beautiful garden up top, a well-equipped kitchen, and a very good internet connection. The washing machine was nice to have as well. Everything was clean. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. The surrounding was peaceful and we didn't encounter any problems.

Some small details that could be better: It wasn't easy to warm up the house (we were here in February). There are 2 AC installations and one movable heater, but when we turned all 3 of them on, the electricity was turning off. We were able to keep only 2 of them on at one time, provided we do not use the electric kettle/washing machine. We also didn't want to use up too much electricity, so we were turning the heating off during the day (12-15 Celsius outside). I was fine, but the women were too cold. Another small problem was that it was damp inside. The ventilation wasn't good enough, and even though we were opening the windows during the mid-day, we were still not able to get it dry inside. The water was always gathering on windows and doors, dripping down. Again, not a big issue, but our washed clothes were drying up for 2 days, some even for 3.

It was excelent, traditional portuguse style of accomodation. The host was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We would come back in future for sure if in this area.
