Perfect place to be out of everything and have a great time, chill with a good food, and nice places to visit. Stuff very polite and lovely.

Mr and Mrs Phong were great hosts. Really friendly and helpful. The bungalows were really clean and well kept. It was nice to spend a few nights away from the beach area to see a different part of Koh Lanta.

This was one of our favourite places we stayed during our travels across Thailand! We spent 10 days here and we loved it. The room is very clean and comfortable and the bed was amazing, we slept so well! The location was ideal for us, it was a bit out of the main area but was a short scooter ride away from the beach and local shops. Plus the whole island was really accessible from here. The longest drive we did was 20 minutes to the very top of the island. There are also a handful of restaurants and cafes within walking distance of BaanPhong which was great. Our favourite thing about staying here was Mr Phong, his family, and the cats! Mr Phong and his family were always available if there were any issues and we loved chatting with them whenever we arrived back to our room. Because we stayed over Christmas, many of the scooter rental places were sold out, but when we found a place Mrs Phong drove us to collect our scooter which was so lovely. Absolutely recommend this place for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Koh Lanta!

This place is a dream. Honestly cannot say enough about this place it is so beautiful. If you like to relax and unwind this is the perfect place to do so. We got bungalow number 3 and sitting out side listening to the birds and in the forest was so relaxing you feel like ur in total paradise and It is located about 4 mins drive from Center/beach so would recommend a bike to get around mr phong is the owner and him and his wife will rent you a bike. They both are so nice and will help with anything you need… We had only booked 4 nights but extended our stay by another 4 nights and if possible would extend another 4 don’t miss this amazing stay. We will be back here 100%.

Host was friendly, though it didn’t feel like a warm welcome, more like a business interaction. Host always points out, that you should buy everything from him (scooter, taxi, etc) as it is more expensive somewhere else, which we can not confirm. You will get the same prices as everywhere else.

Very nice bed, comfortable mattress. Good bathroom and showerhead. The family was very helpful.

The little pathway towards the bungalows can be a bit tricky in the dark. I fell because of the uneven bits so watch out for that.

We had a fantastic stay! The location is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature and home to many stunning birds, making it a true delight for nature lovers. The bungalows are cozy and spotlessly clean, with daily housekeeping available upon request (a big plus!) and equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a very comfortable stay. They are also super organized with a fridge, kettle, toaster, and two small bottles of water provided daily, a thoughtful touch. The property is run by a lovely couple, Mr. Phong and Ann, who work tirelessly to take care of their guests. Ann is incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and a wonderful cook. Breakfast is a highlight (don’t miss the pancakes and French toast!), and the homemade dinners are delicious and reasonably priced. Mr. Phong is always available and ready to assist with any request. The location was perfect for us. We loved staying in an authentic, natural setting, just 2 km (a quick 3-minute scooter ride) from the nearest beaches with beautiful sunsets and plenty of charming little bars and restaurants. It’s also an excellent base for exploring the southern beaches, which are more remote and stunning, as well as for a walk in the Old Town. Notes for travelers: Transport: A scooter is essential for getting around. The scooters provided are new and reliable, though not the cheapest option. Wi-Fi: The connection is good (80–90 Mbps). We were able to work remotely, including video calls, though it was occasionally a bit slow. What truly sets this place apart is the warm hospitality of Mr. Phong and Ann and the peaceful, natural setting. It’s a perfect choice for those seeking an authentic and relaxing experience. The spotless, well-equipped bungalows ensure a worry-free stay.
