It was an adorable little house, impeccably clean and tidy, with lots of useful supplies and fruit available. The shower was good and the bed was very comfortable.

Noise carried through the doors easily, so the odd car driving past at night and heavy rain were a bit hard to ignore

Beautiful little house perfectly done to high expectations. This little house is extremely well-equipped for your stay with all utensils needed and more , vacuum, pens , etc... Very clean with lovely garden area to sit in and washing machine in out building. Based in the heart of Machico with beach bars and restaurants, including supermarkets, all a few mins walk away. Bus station also few mins walk and buses to capital Funchal run frequently around €2.90 euro per adult one way express bus 113 takes around 35mins and 113 normal route takes an hour. Beach sunbeds are only 1euro 50cent for one for whole day. Also, there are always lots happening in Machico weekends . 5th time visited Machico just love the area so much and people very friendly. The host of this property is easy to contact. If you whatsapp him with any questions or help needed, he will respond to you quickly, i.e., needing to know where to watch footy on tv for my husband if you need to know it is best to watch uk football in snake bar canoa 36 . Taxi rank, by the way, is also few mins walk away. Also if you want to go on day trips that you may see are mostly leaving from Funchal, the bus service into Funchal runs from early, I.e. we caught the 7:15am bus two days in a row into Funchal weekdays and then was in plenty of time for breakfast in Funchal and pick up for trips at front of marina back fir 6pm then got bus back into Machico. Give this beautiful little house a try. It's an amazing experience. It is small compact but with all you need for a lovely holiday.

L'accueil du propriétaire parfait, il était très réactif sur Whatsapp pour répondre à nos questions. Nous avons aimé aussi ses petites attentions comme le vin de Madère qu'il nous a laissé en guise de cadeau d'accueil, ses fruits frais de son jardin; bananes et fruit de la passion et le fait que tout soit accessible à quelques minutes de marche, supermarché, plage, restos.... Enfin, cette petite maison a un charme absolu, tout est bien pensé et l'accès au jardin derrière nous fait vraiment sentir comme un "local" de Machico.

Le stationnement dans la rue peut être compliqué mais sans conséquences pour nous. La maison est collée sur la rue...donc peu d'intimité si la porte ou les fenêtres sont ouvertes pour rafraîchir la maison. Peu de fenêtres mais l'éclairage ingénieux permet de rendre le lieux lumineux.

Top Lage, viele sehr gute Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar. Auch ein kleiner Supermarkt mit den wichtigsten Dingen ist sehr nah. Der Strand ist auch in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Garten ist auch sehr nett, allerdings nicht direkt vom Haus aus erreichbar. Ich kann die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Das Bett steht an einer Seite sehr knapp an der Wand. Seitliches Aufstehen nicht wirklich möglich. Es gibt daher auch nur auf einer Seite des Bettes ein Nachtkästchen, was die Ablage von Buch/Handy für die zweite Person etwas erschwert. Aber aufgrund der Größe des Bettes für zwei Personen ist es nicht wirklich anders möglich.

Very cute little place. Small but comfy. Good kitchen and laundry available which is a plus. Nice outdoor area aswell.

Hot water is a bit inconsistent, and it seemed like the air was a bit damp? Maybe just because it was raining a lot but drying our clothes took a long time.

An Interessting and sweet little old cottage with a nice small garden. Close to the Beach and the center of the town. Nicely equipped.

The cottage was very cold and our clothes got wet due to the humidity. (The Weathet was cold and rainy.). There are no look out windows from the cottage so the garden is important for relaxing In summer. One time we could not open the gate from inside.
