Vivenda para férias (Algarve)

A casa superou as nossas expectativas! A localização é excelente, numa zona calma e a apenas 5 minutos da praia. A casa é bastante espaçosa, ideal para 5 pessoas e a relação preço-qualidade é incrível. Um ponto a destacar é a disponibilidade de bicicletas- uma ótima forma de ir até à praia sem precisar de carro.

No entanto, a única coisa que temos a apontar é que havia muitas formigas dentro de casa, especialmente na cozinha. A cortina do duche tinha um cheiro desagradável e parecia pouco limpa, e apenas foi disponibilizado um rolo de papel higiénico para toda a estadia.

The location and the value is great. Walking distance from the beach and a grocery store. Not much more you could ask for when going on a quick getaway.

The neighbours were doing construction works until past 23:00pm and do not care about being quiet as they need to get their property ready to rent out for the highest amount as soon as possible. This is by no means any reflection of the host or property but merely something that can happen in these types of properties where they are all so packed together and majority are holiday homes / rentals.

Heating only on the living room, very cold in the bedroom

The apartment was clean and neat and tidy, plenty of towels

We arrived at the time we had agreed,no one there to meet us with the keys,spent at least an hour outside ringing ,emailing,text owner to try and get them to come and let us in to no avail,after going up to the front door for the sixth time I heard someone other side of the wall and called out to them and asked if she knew the owners,I was taken aback when she said I am I will get the Keys! we had been there over an hour and half standing on the street outside she knew we were due to arrive never came out and never answered her phone.We then discovered although the booking said "whole house" it was in fact the top floor of the house and the owner lived on the ground floor, had the booking description been accurate we would never have booked it as we had 3 small dogs ( thumbs up for allowing pets) there was no secure space to be able to let them out, there was a patio bit but the access was out the front door along the balcony down a steep flight of stairs,I went down there once as it had table and chairs but it was absolutely filthy so would not use it.They did provide bikes which was a great idea,but it was pity they didnt provide a kettle in the kitchen so had to boil water in a jug in the micro wave, the light in the kitchen didnt work properly and neither did the one in the bathroom kept leaving you in complete darkness.I am sure that for some people this property would be fine,but not for us with dogs ( my fault I should have with the owners that where it said "entire house" that that is what it was and not an apartment) Was a good location.

bikes and proximity to beach and small town

A lovely comfortable place to stay with great facilities for a couple or family of four. The owners were also friendly helpful people even though we arrived 2 hours early ,they went out of their way to show us around.
