Casa Azul

The water heater was not working properly, so we had cold showers. No reply from the host.

Loved the cute little house with it's central location (handy for launderette, bars and restos).Great local bakery open from 8am. Very friendly guy in most local bar!

Fixtures and fittings a little basic/old (including linens). With an update would be perfect. Personally I would take a washing machine over a dishwasher any day. More than 2 coffee capsules would have been considerate. Some basic info about services, recommendations would be helpful (especially for walkers who may need to access things early). Struggled to get into the house. Guy from local bar sorted it for us!

It was a nice place to stay at for this price. We got access a bit earlier and the key was in the keybox right outside the apartment.

One thing that could be improved: there is no WIFI. I can't complain about it because it was indicated when booking. I just hadn't read it. Not the end of the world, though.

When they provide two beds, they should provide sheeds for two beds!

It had a kitchen.

There were two beds as advertised. But one bed was a futon of sorts. No sheets for that bed were provided. The owners too way to long to respond to my texts. It was also very hard to find. Did not come up on Google maps.

I really liked my stay in Casa Azul. The flat has two floors and small balconies with a view over the town. Although it is not very modern, it is fully equipped and it has its charm. It is located just in the heart of Odeceixe. However, if you need a total quiteness at night bear in mind that it is located just by the bar, where there is a loud music (during my stay - every night until 2 am). Earplugs were helpful :)
