Orlando Family Friendly Home

Location. Having stayed in Reunion a number of times before, we knew what to expect from the resort.

The access code we were given was incorrect, leaving us in a vulnerable position after a long flight. Initial attempts by us (and Booking.com) to contact the owner failed, although the owner, or their representative, did contact us shortly after that initial delay. The property was tired and had some significant wear (to the outside furniture), but it was nevertheless comfortable.

Doc Shea is a wonderful host, and our stay was overall a pleasant experience. He was incredibly attentive, responsive, and nice. Any questions I had were answered super quickly, which made the stay much smoother.

However, there were some issues with the facility. It was missing washcloths, which was a bit inconvenient. We had to purchase those. Additionally, we had to clean up the outside patios and sweep those down and wipe down various areas throughout the house ourselves upon arrival. There were 2 birds nest and 1 wasp nest on the upper patios, so after cleaning those areas, we opted to just stay away from them altogether. Doc Shea was very nice about reimbursing me any money spent on washcloths and wasp spray, so I really appreciated that. Despite these minor issues, Doc Shea's exceptional responsiveness and attentiveness made up for it. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and fixing some minor items in the house (like the upper bathroom toliet seat, the arm rests on one of the chairs in the guest house, getting rid of the wasp and birds nest) this place could be perfect. But all in all, we enjoyed the home, and the location was perfect for us because it was super close to the competition location we had to be at daily.

Great location and a quiet neighborhood. It was a delightful stay close to Disney parks and other shopping conveniences.

There were a couple of minor maintenance items that needed to be repaired.
