Honeybear Hideaway Cabin

So cute and cozy!

Couldn’t have my dog off leash, but I get it.

It was so warm and cozy. Had everything we needed and no unnecessary extras. The bed was comfy and the tv was easy to use. We had plenty of coffee choices and adorable mugs to use. The decorations were adorable.

Cabin and location were excellent. Very good communication from the host and easy check-in.

The location was wonderful! Not at all what I expected. I thought I would be driving on backroads looking for the little sign to turn. But here it was right near the town. Very easy to find. The keys were not easy to get out of the lock box. It's not well lit and the numbers on the combination box are very hard to see. So please bring a flashlight or use your phone. The front door is also hard to close tight. Just an FYI.

I have to mention the only thing we did not like were the beds. Obviously from the pictures, there's a queen and bunkers. My husband is a big guy, he slept in the queen and I slept in the bottom bunk. I must say it was like sleeping in a coffin. It's probably meant for kids, but I couldn't even sit up. My husband said that the queen was very uncomfortable as well. So, unfortunately we ended our stay a day early. My back was killing me. I just couldn't sleep another night there. But other than the beds, everything else was fine. Clean, well stocked for how small it is. But very cute and nicely decorated.

we liked the location

Very quaint cabin. Nice grounds with plenty of fire pits. Easy to launch off with the kayaks.

Was a little to close to the city Missing a few kitchen items like salt, pepper and a cutting board.

We loved the rustic woodsy feel but also that we were close to amenities like attractions and restaurants.

It was a little spendy for such a small cabin. Probably could have gotten a hotel room cheaper and wouldve had more space.
