The Ledges Resort & Marina

We stayed in one of the smallest cottages, Sparrow, for 3 nights while visiting Thousand Islands. We were very pleasantly surprised how much we liked the cottage and the grounds. The cottage is tiny, but lovely inside. First rate bathroom. Kitchen was better equipped than most Air B&Bs I have stayed in. Really liked all the paneling, the deck outside with table and chairs, location right on the marina/water. Close to town yet private. Nice pool area. Check in and out were handled via email/text very conveniently. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ledges. The cabin was lovely. We appreciated the attention to detail in the decor, cleanliness, functionality, and the amenities provided. We will stay with you again when in the area.

Very nicely kept, great location, quiet and beautiful. Well stocked - firewood, grill tools, tea and coffee, etc. Highly recommend for anyone with kids, dogs or both. The open grassy area is great for play, the firepits are all set with adk chairs. Beautiful sunsets over the water.

The facility grounds are extremely well kept and beautiful. The cabin is very well equipped with everything you need. Most of all, the hosts / owners are incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. It was a great experience and I plan to come back in the future.

We had a great time! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Close to uncle Sam boat tours and downtown Alexandria Bay. Arrival and checkout were easy. Though we didn’t use them there was a fire pit and a grill, which were huge bonuses. Our cabin had a full kitchen, which saved us a little bit of money on meals. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would recommend.

This was our third visit to The Ledges staying in the Heron Cottage. It has been and continues to be a lovely place to stay- clean, cozy, waterfront decor accommodations with attention to detail. Landscaping is gorgeous with many perennial plants enveloping the area- well kept grounds. Staff and owners are well organized and ready to respond to your needs. Location of the cottages take full advantage of the riverfront making watching the huge passing freighters a delight to watch. Can’t wait to go back!

We were right by the docks of the marina so had a great view of the boats/bay. Best was seeing the Boldt Castle from my couch in my cabin.

I know it’s early in the season, but yard could have been mowed a bit.

Our group (16 people) stayed at The Ledges for two nights for a family wedding at Boldt Castle. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our two units had full kitchens which were perfect and fully equipped for feeding everyone. Very nice amenities in the bathrooms. The owners are very responsive (and quick!) to any needs or requests. The location can't be beat in 1,000 Islands! There were beautiful views and it was a very short trip to the water shuttle to Boldt Castle. We hope to return someday when the weather is better.

Beautiful location and very peaceful. The American hosts and locals welcomed us Canadians with open arms. Shame on the Canadian media for hyping the 'Stay and buy in Canada'. The border towns on both sides depend on cross-border transactions. It is our politicians who should be held accountable!!!
