Retro Rainbow at Herb River-Royal Aubergine #10

The home was comfortable enough and had everything we needed for a long weekend trip, including coffee maker and extra towels and blankets/sheets. Lots of sleeping options, though some were a bit awkward.

There were a lot of unfinished projects that should have been completed before we checked in and broken things that should have been fixed; living room clock doesn’t work, pull out couch is broken and entertainment center is broken, dining room rug is torn and there is a missing vent with patchwork on the wall, random nails sticking out of walls, unfinished paint on bathroom door, the bathroom is gross - mold in cracks - and bath is NOT conducive for children’s bathrooms. It was clear this wasn’t cleaned well as we found hair throughout the home - on couches and in beds and there were beads strung throughout the house that my 2 year old kept finding and trying to eat. Had to wear socks or shoes in the house if we didn’t want feet to be black with dirt.

The only thing good about the accommodations was the location.

The access code was wrong upon arrival. There was trash overflowing beside the house. The house smelled of animal and a dirty mop all throughout the house. There was in fact a dirty mop in a bucket in the sleepspace/porch as soon as you walk in. There was mold on the ceiling in the hall bathroom and we saw roaches.
