A Relaxing Getaway SolDuc 1

It was so well kept and clean. The river in the backyard was so calming and beautiful.

There’s nothing to complain about! Everything was great!

Very nice, quiet location. Very clean home with a well-stocked kitchen.

No TV in the living room. If you watch TV, you have to do it in the upstairs bedroom. Also, there was a mandatory power outage when we were there the second night. We had plans to come back to the place to watch a movie, but lights out precisely at 10:00. When you pay so much for a vacation rental, you should be able to do what you want, so that was very disappointing. Pura, the hostess, was very nice and tried her best to make the stay with no power acceptable, bringing us battery lights and water. I just wish we could have enjoyed the full visit that we paid for.

The house has a magnificent setting in luscious greenery, just above the river bank. The property is very clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. I can honestly recommend this place to families with children. Just keep in mind that the upper level is an open mezzanine with 1/2 bathroom, that's why I recommend the place to families with children rather than two couples of adults. Overall, we had a great time and felt right at home!

Beautiful windows and views, plenty of space, huge area to park, close to Forks. Hosts were very nice.

I didn't realize there weren't 2 full bathrooms, and the 2nd bedroom is a loft over the living area / kitchen so there isn't a ton of privacy for changing. (I believe it's advertised as 2 bed / 2 bath but it's really 1.5 bath and 1 bedroom + loft). I also thought the river was fairly prominent in the posting but there is no way to access the river (no steps down, etc.) so it was disappointing for my kids who wanted to play in the water.
