It's like going back in time. Stone houses close to the church. A house from the past .. Well equipped, cozy There was also some food to cook. Very quiet area. Nice people. I recommend

The double bed was to soft for me. The shower Could be better.

Such a cozy little place! An exceptional home in a quiet village, nearby to Monsanto and other ancient villages. Mr. Carlos was nearby for access and any problems (he had to resolve our WiFi issue). Supplied with everything you need for a comfortable stay. And you must bring cat food for the 4-legged visitors aka moochers!

Bemposta itself doesn't have any shops or cafes so you have to be prepared.

The house is really much better than on pictures. It's quite big, with high ceiling. Beautiful large dining-living room, combined with the kitchen and with fireplace. Interior is very pleasant, nicely decorated with various rustic household items. When you light up the candles after getting dark, the atmosphere becomes absolutely magical.

We were missing the air conditioning. It seems that house has not been rented for some days before us so, of course all the windows were closed, and on +38 outside the whole house heated inside like a huge stone oven. First two days it was extreme hot inside. But we were keeping all the windows and entrance door opened all the time, so air started to move. In the night it's windy and temperature is quite cool, so on the third day it became much more comfortable.
