Very cozy and comfortable little house in the middle of rural Portugal. You have everything you need in order to enjoy a couple of calm days. The bed is simply amazing, something that truly allowed me to sleep like a baby. With that said, I did not really feel the "magic" some reviewers write about. This can of course be attributed to the fact I had hard rain and hard winds during my entire stay in the house, but partly also because the pictures presenting the tiny house are more or less all taken during the spring. If you like me visit this location in October, keep in mind the color scale of nature around that part of the year is more brown-gray rather than green as a result of nature being scorched by the relentless Portuguese summer sun. The pictures of the view from the bathtub should be updated, as you don't have such view from the room, instead the window faces a very high pine hedge that blocks all view from you.

The last 100 meters of the dirt road leading up to the house are a nightmare. On my arrival, this section contained segments of mixed old asphalt and loose small rocks, something that made my rental truly struggle to get up the steep hill. During my first day of stay a tractor scraped away the remaining asphalt from this section, something that together with the heavy rains that were predicted turned the dirt road into a mud road where the car more or less slid down the dirt road like on ice when leaving the property. Quite nerv-wracking! Not entirely the best planing for getting that particular job done.

Well renovated little house with two bedrooms with own bathroom. Nice garden. Great hosts. Rural area, but close enough to nice beaches.

just that if the people stay preciously cleans the bbq utilities would be nice as we spent a lot of time scrubbing it 😂 not the owners fault..
