Casa do Salvador I

The Casa of Salvador is very well located in the center of Evora, and not too far from a free car park. The architecture is original with two floors and convenient with two bathrooms. Comfortable beds.

Oven and fridge were dirty and the pans were out of service, being too damaged, so that we could only cook our dishes in the microwave. Both bathrooms were a litthe dirty with remaining hairs. Also, it was a bad surprise to discover that both rooms, located on the second floor, have no doors, so that when one turns on his light at night he disturbes the other in the second room.

Needed cleaning in bathrooms there was mold in showers… dust in the rooms.

Great location, ease of checkin

Bathrooms could use some attention and if traveling with others there is no mirror in one. Worked for us but beware that stairs are steep. The place has “good bones” but is no frills. Lots of potential. We left two messages regarding AirPod pros that were left behind but did not receive a response :-(

Location

No doors on bedrooms, cramped / creaky stairwell to bedrooms.

Unusal acommodation, which is what we wanted. Very Unique. Interior was sufficient, and they made the most of the space of this historic building. Ample room for my family of 4. Nice having a little balcony, even if it was just to add a little fresh air - not for sitting out on. The little cove windows were cute and added to it's uniqueness. Beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. The apartment was clean. The pictures accurately reflected the actual apartment. The location was central and easy to get around to different areas of the city.

The showers were a little old feeling - could use a refresh, but still the bathrooms were clean. The stairs leading up to the bedrooms were VERY creaky and LOUD when used. This was more funny than being something we didn't like. It was still fun staying in a more unconventional accommodation.

Stairs too crunchy

Stay was comfortable however we only had 2 towels for 4 people and the stairs to the bedrooms creaked badly but location was good

Lack of parking however we parked in underground carpark approx 200m away but cost us 17euro for the night
