Host was very helpful. We got lost finding the place and she organised a neighbour who spoke English to guide us to the location. She also booked a restaraunt for us. The apartment was old fashioned but very clean and spacious with good facilities and a lovely view from the balcony.

Our GPS had difficulty locating the place and took us on a very mountainous and circuitous route so we were stressed when we arrived. The following morning we took a much easier route to Coimbra. This was no fault of the accommodation.

"A welcoming stay and great area to explore."

The host was very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately didn't speak English, but wasn't a problem. Great view from the balcony overlooking the Mondego River and across to Penacova and great area to explore.

The bed we used wasn't too comfy and linen a bit scratchy. Shelves or storage in bathroom for personal items would be useful.
