"Highly recommend staying here."

Pine Acres Lodge is in a quiet area, close to the Historic part of Monterey. We loved being able to cook our own meals after being out exploring the area during the day. Our unit was great, parking right outside. We had a lovely deck out the back which we enjoyed using. Reception staff were great and offered helpful information about where to find supermarkets.

"Good location, quiet surroundings, compact studio apartment. Limited TV selection."

Location in Pacific Grove, four blocks from the sea, six blocks from downtown. Quiet surroundings. Specified parking near unit. Comfortable bed and linens.

The pull down king-size Murphy Bed although comfortable, occupied much space in the compact studio room, making walking around challenging. The TV should have at least some basic news channels like CNN, some movie channels. Having only product channels, and reruns of Green Acres, Three Stooges and other 60's shows was not a particularly good offering, especially given the relatively high room rate.

"One the best lodge stays in Pacific Grove I have ever had."

The front office staff was friendly and welcoming. The room felt like a home away from home. Everything you would need to cook a family meal is provided in the stocked kitchen.

"We loved being so close to the marine sanctuary - rocks and beaches and lots of sea otters!"

The apartment was perfectly sized and furnished for the three of us. The hosts were generous, accommodating, and communicative. Nice private parking lot was very convenient. Gorgeous area, and only a few blocks from the shore; incredible value considering the zip code.

We had a wonderful stay at Pine Acres Lodge. Ideal location to visit downtown or enjoy walks on the coast. We felt very comfortable, kitchen has everything you need and beyond. Too bad we forgot our bathing suits to enjoy the jacuzzi!
