Downtown Historic 2Bdrm, Walk to Riverwalk, Alamo; Beautifully Renovated!

This rental was absolutely beautiful overall, despite a few minor imperfections. The interior was stunning, and the kitchen was gorgeous, fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, which was a huge plus. The bedrooms were comfortable, well-designed, and made for a great stay. The bathrooms were also very clean and looked amazing. The huge backyard was a great feature, the jacuzzi was fantastic and definitely one of the highlights of the property. A view of the Tower of America from the front yard. Overall, despite a few areas needing attention, this is a beautiful rental with plenty of space, comfort, and amenities. I would definitely recommend it, especially once those minor issues are addressed.

There were a few maintenance issues that could easily be addressed, such as a burnt-out lightbulb in one of the kitchen fixtures, some cracks in the walls, and a small amount of mold around a ceiling vent. The screen door leading to the backyard also needed replacement. Outside, the yard appeared overdue for mowing, and the outdoor trash bin was extremely full upon arrival.

Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was great! Host was very responsive prior to check in and with any questions we had during. No problems, just questions on our end.

Couches were a little uncomfortable and not much lighting in the living room. Was not a major issue. Overall, the space worked well for us.

There was not a sofa bed. Only an air mattress. We had 5 people and planned around having three beds like the listing said. The air mattress was dirty. Only a dirty wet fitted sheet stuffed in the closet. They said two bathrooms. But it was only 1 full bath and 1 powder room. Loads of hair in the bed. The hot tub was old gross water. Just a bad experience. Host was responsive but not accountable. It would be fine if you have 2 people and don’t care about sleeping in sheets with other peoples hair. Otherwise so misrepresented. I had to put my sons up in a hotel last minute because the third bed was a full-size air mattress (with no sheets). Check in 4 and check out 10 am. So make sure you want to get up early to do laundry and take the trash out before Checkout on your vacay. I travel so much and don’t leave this kind of rating but this experience was so horrible. So disappointed. Reviews were so great. Also not a quick walk to riverwalk. Missing wall decor. One shower smelled like urine.

The location was perfect - just 20 minutes walk to the lovely River Walk area and in a quiet neighbourhood. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was beautifully renovated. The kitchen had all the equipment required, including a high chair, and the outside patio was great to sit on and have a beer at the end of the day.

We selected this property in order to be able to visit The Alamo, the Riverwalk, La Villita by walking rather than dealing with a car. The Historic DT San Antonio property dramatically exceeded our expectations! We not only walked to above mentioned sites quicky and safely - we loved exploring the many restaurants in the King William neighborhood. Found several great restaurants - Hola being our very favorite. The Home was beautifully updated, but still retaining the "turn of the nineteenth century charm"! Loved many things about this vacation spot - but having the Hot Tub available at the end of our very packed sight-seeing days was a huge PLUS!!!!

Hate to be boring - but there was nothing I did not feel good about! It was a very good experience - from the pre-trip communication to updates along the way to final send-off. A very well managed property!

Very nicely renovated historical house. Very well equipped kitchen. Even with one and a half bath, worked nicely for two couples. Great communication with the owners.

On a hot day, somewhat long walk to the center of town.
