Carlos is absolutely wonderful. Went out of his way to make us feel welcome. he was incredibly gracious in understanding travel with children and super understanding when I locked us out and he had to come let us in!!! Carlos is a wonderful host and person

The host Carlos made us feel very welcome right from the start and was so helpful with everything. An absolute star in our eyes. The house was beautiful and clean. Everything you need for a wonderful stay is in this house, fully stocked with eating utensils, american fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and a booklet to explain everything is an absolute bonus. The location is beautiful with everything you need around you to make your stay easy - restaurants and cafes practically on your doorstep including 2 supermarkets nearby. We would highly recommend staying here, it's the full package. Stunning sea views and super comfy... Definitely an A+++ in our book.

The property was warm and cozy and ideally located across from the beach and boardwalk and close to restaurants and cafés. A number of well-looked-after plants gave the place a finishing touch and a pleasant feel of home. The property has a remote gate with private and easy covered parking. Comfortable for our family of five to rest, relax and explore the surrounding areas. Carlos was friendly, prompt, accommodating and ensured that our stay was what we wanted.

Large new house in quiet location, just few meters from a long beach promenade. Very well furnished space with modern aplliances such as dishwasher, flat TV, various heating devicese etc. Sitting area in the garden. Billiard table in the basement. Private parking space for up to 4 cars under a roof. Fishermen's village in close neighbourhood is interesting and somewhat unique. Combination of large stone-made grill in the garden and well supplied fish market within walking distance may be inspiring for those, who like to prepare their own fish on the charcoal (the owner prepared a full sack). We did so every other evening. Actually the owner and host (Carlos) is exceptionally tentative and carrying person, always respecting our comfort and privacy. Own pool may seem to be missing at the 1st sight but in fact is not so necessary given sometimes windy weather. Own car is a must but gives chances for trips to Porto, Guimaraes, Braga or Douro river valley...
