Parking

The view from the terrace outside the property (which is open to the public, but there were very few people around). We saw some spectacular sunsets. The breakfast was good, and very convenient to have it delivered to the door at our specified time.

At first we were in the 2-storey house and we had problems - the bedroom shutter was broken (it was on the floor), and the bathroom shutter did not open properly and fell open on its own, which could have been dangerous. The shower broke (it would not turn off), and also leaked down the kitchen wall through the kettle socket, which was obviously dangerous. There was also no corkscrew or tea-towel. We asked to be moved, and we were given a different cottage (the one with the glass-box bathroom), which was better. All the shutters and the shower worked and there was direct access to the terrace. There was a corkscrew in this one, but no wine glasses! Glasses and tea-towel were provided when I requested them. Also, the listing states that English is spoken, but it was not, we had to use a translation app to communicate. However, the staff were very nice.

House tends to be a bit cold during winter, everything thing else is great.

The house is very well renovated and the owners managed to keep the stone walls apparent, according to what local houses used to look like a few decades ago. The result is astonishing. The property was very well equipped and very functional. The breakfast was brought every morning and consisted of bread, cheese, preserves and fruit (also, milk, orange juice). The house was very clean, the mattress comfortable, the AC functioning well. The property is located at the top of the town hill in a very quiet place and has a common patio with amazing views of the surroundings (and sunsets).

The TV and the 2 big armchairs in the downstairs room were not really useful for us. May be a small table (in addition to the outdoor fording table) and dinning chairs would be more convenient. We also regret the parsimony of coffee capsules, and to have to go to their local shop to bring back the house key (although we got to meet in person the owner of the property).
