if you want the old portugese experience this is it , I love this place its old tyle querkiness steeped in history . sit out at night enjoy a barbeque and feel the peacefullness of an old style home , with an open fire and all the home comforts .

nothing not to like , enjoy this place to its fullest . the host is always contactable at all times .

Le logement est INSALUBRE. Il ne devrait pas figurer en location Il nous a été impossible de prendre une douche. L’eau était d’une couleur marron. Le fond de la baignoire, bidet, lavabo très sales Il n’y avait pas de draps dans tous les lits. Odeur d’humidité, murs sales avec toiles d’araignée s Extérieur nous entretenu Réseau électrique dangereux Logement à vomir Je demande le remboursement de la location Inadmissible de mettre à louer ce genre de logement

A Localização da casa fica no centro da Vila de Penamacor.

Para entrar na habitação é quase necessário arrombar a porta por ela estar perra e para chegar à porta principal da habitação precisamos de nos desviar das árvores pois estas não estão cortadas. A Limpeza ficou um pouco abaixo das expectativas. 1 Quarto junto à Cozinha dizia ser de casal no entanto o colchão apenas servia 1 pessoa e esse quarto está particularmente cheio de velharias o que não o tornam confortável.

A casa é bastante grande e fica no coração de penamacor. Denota-se que é uma casa antiga contudo está bem equipada e tem o seu charme.

Uma vez que a casa é antiga e grande é um pouco fria, tornando se um pouco desconfortável.

This is an old building with lots of history , you feel like you are staying in a castle . great open fire makes it nice and cosy comes with free wi-fi and an outdoor pool 5 minutes walk from the local square where there are plenty of places to eat . Just don't expect to much and be prepared to be amazed .

loved it there is nothing that I didn't like . had a slight problem with the plumbing but that was sorted with in an hour The host is amazing to .

The fresh oranges on the trees outside. Fresh orange juice for breakfast was a small compensation for what was a pretty awful experience.

The bed. Creaking, ancient and uncomfortable. Damp pillows. Smell of damp. Just because the house is 100 years old, it doesn't mean the mattress has to be, too. FREEZING COLD! Neglected garden, slippery steps. Hard to find. Hard to deal with the owner.

The house is very pleasant and even though it is an old house, it has a charm of the past. The fact that we were able to disconnect was awesome. The place is quiet with lots of small villages and natural pools in the surroundings to visit. Rogério and Silvina who contacted us were extremely helpful. The keys were delivered by Silvina at the door and she also showed us the house.

The fact that we only spend two nights... Would've stay for a whole month.
