Walking distance to the beach downtown bus stops, relax by listening to ocean waves stress reduction, helpful host

The location was very central, just by the beach via steps, very close to many bars and restaurants. The accommodation had pretty much everything we needed during our stay. Our host brought us some cake on our first day which was very tasty.

The property was extremely hot in mid September, the property has a fan and you can keep the front door open but obviously this isn't possible when sleeping, there's needs to be some air conditioning as in the really hot months this must be unbearable. The sofa/bed in the hallway is very uncomfortable, even using pillows from the bed it definitely wasn't somewhere you could sit and relax for long.

Excellent location in the center of town and close to the beach. Owner was nice to bring wife’s baking some days.

Too loud with car traffic. The road is about 1 foot from the door and the road is a main road and it’s too loud. You can’t shut the only window because it gets too hot and uncomfortable. 3 of the bathroom walls are clean, but one wall has mould (black and green) growing in the grout. We gave this property a score of 4 as we were so uncomfortable we were considering moving to nearby hotel.

We really loved our stay! Firstly the apartment was super clean, everything we needed was there. We liked that it’s spacious and the television is great, but the best of course is the beautiful door and window and the view you have when you look out. It was also very cheap for a central apartment and the host has such a nice family, they offered us homemade cakes and were very welcoming. If we come back to terceira, we’re gonna stay here again!! The ocean front view is fantastic! Good location and easy to get everywhere.

You can hear a lot of very loud street noise constantly.

Very hot for me, the property doesn't have Aircon, just an ventilator and the window can't be left open because from the apartment you exit straight on the street and people passing by the window

The owners treated me more like a guest to their home than a client. Very sweet couple. The location was also fantastic. Close to everything and a beautiful view of the beach

The location is brilliant - it is 1 minute from the ocean. So you can start your morning with an ocean swim. The room is spacious, the bathroom is clean. There are many restaurants and cafes in the area

The location and the staff were exceptional.
