The house was in a lovely location. Well equipped and spotless. Unfortunately my son broke his foot just before we arrived so the spiral stairs were a little challenging but he managed! Correspondence with the owner was easy and Joana was very accommodating with our earlier arrival time. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The location, the kitchen and laundry facilities, the obvious care taken to make the place feel cozy and like home.

The staircase. This place is definitely not for old folks. The spiral staircase is terrible and cannot be avoided, because the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs.

The house is really well decorated and maintained ..even though small plenty of room for us with two teenagers but the best things are the location, quiet and feels very local, yet so near the beach, park, bus stop.. very quick to get into Porto and convenient for the other beaches and airport. The house is modernised with everything thought of, condiments and laundry detergent ect, as those things can be expensive to buy. It feels like you are living in a real community, with houses on different shapes and colours but not surrounded by tourists. A refreshing change from the busyness of Porto..and the restaurants are more affordable. Much nicer than staying in a hotel. Would definitely stay here again as a base in Northern Portugal and will recommend to others. The host Joanna was so understanding when the coffee machine stopped working and I was worried I had broken it! The top tip is..the pictures don't at all show how good the house is. The gardens are round the corner and are shady and beautiful..it feels very safe as well. Foz is just lovely.. something for everyone. When we arrived, there was cheeses and wine in the kitchen and some pastel de Nata, which was so welcome after a long journey. Very thoughtful

Nothing..we didn't even miss not having access to a pool as the beach was right across the road!

Our stay was amazing, big thanks to Joanna who gave us so many great recommendations (esp for first-timers in Porto!)<3 The neighbourhood itself is beautiful and cozy, location is very near the beach (however, we were a bit unlucky with the weather). Honestly the stairs are not even that bad as everyone says, bit scary to get down from at night, but there’s plenty of room to leave your bag downstairs.

Well appointed house with plenty of character! Comfortable bed and nice bed linen. Perfectly located down a charming alleyway yet close to everything you need in Foz.

Narrow spiral staircase to bedroom/s may not be suitable for everyone but was no problem for us.

This beautiful house is wonderfully located down a quiet lane near cafes, bars and restaurants and walking distance to the beach. The 500 bus goes from the bottom of the lane into Porto which takes around 20 mins.

The narrow winding staircase, so don't stay here if elderly or infirm, otherwise it's fine.

The location was absolutely incredible in Porto and the house had so much charm. Wonderful hosts!
