FLH Altura Family House with Pool

It's a beautiful property with true potential (largely equipped for long stay rentals), in a quiet location, easy access to restaurants and beach. Good for families and large groups. But terrible property management.

TO START with: - we ran out of gas for showering/cooking upon returning from the beach (our 3 year old w/ shampoo, and dinner halfway cooked). - the manager was only available by WhatsApp messaging and DIDN'T CALL BACK after contacted. Arrogantly, she rejected to help (I asked how to solve this or where to find gas bottles), and did not even apologize for the occurrence. Gas was delivered to the house next day's noon. OTHERs: - the house didn't seem clean upon arrival, with sand and hairs on the floor, and dirt inside kitchen cabinets. Our feet were black-dirty after walking barefoot inside. - the fridge was set on max. power, there were blocks of ice inside, that flooded the bottom of the fridge upon melting. - the vacuum cleaner didn't work (I guess it's just decor). - the cutlery was greasy from previous use, so we needed to wash everything. Only 1 proper knife in the kitchen to cut fruit and veggies. No BBQ tools, so you cannot use the BBQ unless you buy them. - bed linen and towels needed washing after extended use, but there weren't any extra. Any detergents or cleaning tools are provided, even though there is a dishwasher and washing machine, people need to buy new packages even if you want to use just once. The washing machine was dirty inside, so needed cleaning before use. I'd like to mention that we were charged 378€/night for this property (4 persons). For this price, you would expect excellent conditions and management, and unworried holidays (and not to be cleaning other people's dirt). Next time, we'll definitely look for a private locally-owned rental, and avoid FLH properties.

The property is perfectly designed to accommodate 8 people both considering privacy for bath and sleeping and also for socialize.

In a 14 days stay is the first time we have not been provided with cleaning and/or clean linen in the end of first week. The house was not properly clean when we arrived. Communication with the administration was only possible by what’s up.
